It’s been just over two years since I last saw The City of Lights and, not going to lie, I’ve been dreaming about being able to wander Parisian streets again. The open-air bookstores and art sellers along the river. The architecture and history. The wealth dripping from the ceilings in Napoleon’s apartments. The fancy shops on the Champs-Élysées. The gothic tombstones overcome with ivy in Père Lachaise. The cafes bustling with life. The smell of fresh bread while passing a bakery . . . Soon, I hope. In the meantime, these photos will have to do. Enjoy!
I miss you, Paris. Or, for a more direct translation, you are very much missing from me.
Staying safe means staying at home for the moment, but what place are you missing the most?
And lovely photos they are!
I’m missing Paris too! Tea at Ladurée, museum hopping, gypsy jazz…

Paris me manque aussi! There are so many beautiful places in the city that one could spend ages just taking it all in. Some of my favorite spots are in the 18th and 19th arrondissements– they’re more quiet and residential, but have the same charm as the rest of Paris!

There’s so much to Paris! I love the idea of keeping the beautiful Parisian charm but less of the hustle and bustle.
