Porto is the second-largest city in Portugal but still has a historically small-town feel that draws you in and makes you want to stay. Walk the river, taste heavenly sweet pastries like pastel de nata and bola de Berlim, admire the azulejo tiles covering churches and translations, indulge in a Francesinha (cooked ham and cheese sandwich smothered in a delicious sauce and topped with a fried egg), and watch the sunset while sipping vinho verde – my favorite!
Porto is a city of beauty, culture, and delicious food. What is there not to love?
A World Full of Scribbles 
I only had a brief stay in Porto, but I remember how beautiful it was! Also vividly remember the Francesinha I got; I was starving, and it ended up being a godsend to my hunger haha. Love the colors, architecture, and people…your post makes me want to return to Portugal once the pandemic is over!

Omg the Francesinha – I had it twice it was so good. So filling though! Everything about Porto was amazing – I ended up accidentally booking a week and never had a boring day. I can’t wait to go back too. I think it’s one of my favorite cities.
